More clouds, a few showers on Sunday; Wet Week Ahead – CBS New York

Expect more clouds overall today, as well as a few showers at times.

This is by no means a washout, so don’t cancel any outdoor shots! Just be prepared for brief interruptions if a shower passes.
We should enjoy some sun breaks this afternoon, especially further south as you go.
The peaks will be between the low to mid 80s for the city and point south … the 70s north and east where the clouds are hanging.
There is a lingering chance overnight with patchy fog developing in places late. It’s a balmy, humid night with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

By tomorrow a warm front will move further north and more of the region will reach the 80s. The southern parts of our region will reach the upper 80s to close to 90. Again, you will really feel there. humidity and a downpour or thunderstorm is possible.
In fact, that’s pretty much the trend this week… high humidity and a chance of rain every day, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
We’ll be close to 90 by the end of the week, feeling more like the mark of the century. Again, no day is a wash… just typical summer pop-ups.
